pat lane park was named for park neighbor pat lane, who cared for the property for over 30 years before lisa purchased it from the city of detroit and built mounds on it for play and rest. for september 2020, design core detroit’s month of design, lisa collaborated with detroit denim to offer the installation “did you try unplugging it and plugging it back in again?” more details here. the park continues to be open to the public even after the fabric installation has come down. here are directions to come and visit.
